History: The Collection

Ox & Rabbit Manor has a long and storied history woven through with spies, heroes, tragedy and well maintained bars.
Once history has been marked, History marks in return. The Ox & Rabbit respectfully maintains, displays, and holds in safe keeping a large collection of historical objects relating to its past and the past of our guests.
Collection pieces are displayed on a rotating basis, based on the calendar, throughout the Manor. As you stroll through the corridors and grounds of Ox & Rabbit Manor, keep an eye out for hidden objects and forgotten bits of history.

Ox & Rabbit Manor has been deeply honored to host some of America's best; heroes sung and unsung.
The O&R has a deep and abiding committment to the principles and ideals that our great country was founded upon. And in this committment, we have found both allegiance and support from others.
Some of the items in our collection are held in trust; waiting for the time their owners will have need of them again. Until that time, the O&R is priviledged to hold them safe.

Visitors staying in the Ox & Rabbit's main Guest suite are provided a complimentary stuffed animal to sleep with; should they have neglected to bring a sleeping companion of their own. Most guests choose the stuffed lion. Only a very select few choose the stuffed R.O.U.S.
Not all collection items displayed are rotated. This item, for example, is never moved. Ever.
It is, however, regularly dusted.
Not all items have explicable provenance. Some things just 'showed up' and were eventually displayed 'in situ'
